Pakistan's 63rd Independence Day Celebration Event Saturday, 7th Aug.2010 in Golden Gate Park of San Francisco California USA was successful. Thousands of Pakistani American and others attended. Consul General of Pakistan from Los Angles, California Senator Lelan Yee from Sacramento, FBI Director, San Francisco Police Chief rep. and Pakistan Association's President M. Akhtar Shah addressed the huge crowed by realizing the current flood situation in Pakistan and encourage the community to help the peoples of Pakistan by donating generously.

Pakistan Association of San Francisco Bay Area invites all Pakistani American youth living in the greater Bay Area, Please come forward become the member of Pakistan Association and take control of the Association as you are the future of the country. The Pakistan Association of San Francisco Bay Area is working towards establishment of a community center for Pakistani American and Asian American communities with facilities to accommodate the community's needs, such as being a venue for social and cultural celebrations, weddings, funeral facilities and other community services.

Pakistan Association will try to get land donated from the city of San Francisco for Pakistan House Community Center. However, before we make such a request from the city, we should have a suitably sized membership in our organization. Please become a member of Pakistan Association of San Francisco Bay Area to achieve the goal of having a community center for the sake of community and country.
